New Rush Hall Group currently has the following vacancies;

PRIMARY TEACHER
MS + SEN Point

New Rush Hall is a special school for children experiencing social, emotional and/or mental health difficulties (SEMH), many of which present challenging behaviour.

As our school expands from September 2020 we have a vacancy in the Primary department for a qualified and experienced teacher.  Responsibility for leading a curriculum area may be available to a candidate with the right skills and experience.

You will be joining NRHS at a very exciting time; there is a new leadership team in place across the whole school with ambitious plans for school improvement.  Teachers in the primary department will have an important contribution to make to shaping the schools future direction.

We are looking for two exceptional teachers with

  • Qualified Teacher status
  • Successful classroom experience of Quality First Teaching
  • An interest in, and understanding of, Special Educational Needs and the factors which affect behaviour
  • Resilience, stamina, flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude to hard work and challenging situations

Pupil Pathways Coordinator- The New Rush Hall Group

Grade: LBR12 (£35,288  – £37,867 – 44.26 weeks)

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, experienced and committed person to the role of Pupil Pathway Co-ordinator.

The Pupil Pathways Coordinator is responsible:

  • To continue to support the development of outstanding provision for Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG) and employer engagement opportunities.
  • To improve school attendance through the effective working with students, families, pastoral support teams and other agencies, analysing data to guide interventions and evaluating their impact
  • For the day-to-day management and administration of the notification, statutory assessment and annual review process for pupils with special educational needs within statutory timescales and in line with appropriate legislation and Redbridge policy
  • To support SENCO’s across the New Rush Hall group in obtaining EHCP assessments for pupils and seeking appropriate placements for pupils.
  • To liaise with parents to gain regular feedback so the school can continue on its journey of self-improvement.

The successful candidate will need to have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good listening skills and an ability to provide information, advice and support impartially
  • Competent and confident user of ICT
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, liaising with staff to support the review process
  • The ability to research information and explain it clearly
  • Administrative, report writing and record keeping skills

Federation Business Manager

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, experienced and committed person to the role of Federation Business Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding experienced Business Manager to become part of a School Leadership Team, working closely with the Executive Head Teacher and Head Teachers across all schools within the group.

You will be involved in strategic financial planning for school improvement and will gain valuable experience of leadership. The budgets are complex and therefore require someone with an accountancy qualification. A school Business Management qualification would be advantageous although not essential.

The core purpose of the role will be to:

  • Lead and manage each schools’ finances, including day to day financial tasks, purchasing, budget setting and budget monitoring.
  • Produce monthly management accounts and reports for the GB/Committees for all schools.
  • Complete and submit monthly returns to the local authority; The London Borough of Redbridge.
  • Manage the schools’ premises, oversee maintenance and improvement programmes.
  • Be responsible for HR functions within the schools, including maintenance of the Single Central Records, payroll submissions, and recruitment.
  • Maintain accurate financial, HR records.
  • Advise the SLT and Governors on all financial, premises and HR matters.
  • Line manage office and premises staff for The New Rush Hall School.

The successful candidate will need to have:

  • Considerable experience of managing school finances
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to be strategic and creative
  • Excellent financial management and ICT skills
  • The ability to play a senior role within the organisation of all schools.
