Working and learning together for Achievement

Following representations from the School Council, the School Governors introduced a dress code for all secondary age students attending The New Rush Hall School.

Plain white shirt with collar and buttons at neck (no polo necks or T/shirts), black pullover or plain unhooded sweatshirt (in colder weather) and tie, which is available  to buy from the school office. School trousers, black or grey, with zip (no track-suit trousers or any type of denim)

As above, but trousers or knee-length skirts are also allowed. A plain black blazer is optional

All clothes should be in sober, single colours.  Coats may be any colour or patterned but may not be worn on the premises during lessons.

Any type of black shoes is acceptable but in the interest of health and safety we discourage high heels and platform soles.

No valuable jewellery should be worn to school, and the only earrings allowed are studs or small hoops.

For PE, all students should have a T/shirt, trainers and shorts, or tracksuit bottoms to change into for the weekly session.
